Workshop and field demonstration on YODA profiler in Thailand
Collaborated with Prof. Tanuspong Pokavanich from Department of Marine Science of Kasetsart University, JFE Advantech Co., Ltd held a workshop and on-site demonstration to introduce YODA profiler, a unique “tow-yo” style instrument using unique technology that allows continuous profile of the water column with high spatial resolution from small boats without occupying much space. The event allowed JFE Advantech to have a great opportunity to educate scientists from various universities and institutes in Thailand to learn YODA profiler’s operation, application and data processing. One day measurement on Chao Para River with YODA and other instruments (ADCP etc.) provided an example on how to study salt instruction by sea water. JFE Advantech will enthusiastically looks forward to continue working with and support all workshop participants in future.
