April 1944
Steel Works in Takamatsu branch plant of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. begins production of weighing devices.
April 1949
Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. begins production of thermal control gauges.
August 1950
Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. spins off its Steel Works Section as Kawasaki Steel Corporation, an independent company. Kawasaki Steel Corporation inherits the thermal control gauges section from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and starts production of thermal control gauges factory.
October 1951
Merger of The Fukiai Factory's Gauge Production Department and the Hyogo Factory's Weight Measurement Production Department to create the Measuring and Weighing Instruments Production Works in Kobe's Fukiai Ward.
October 1960
The Measuring and Weighing Instruments Production Works relocates to 3-48 Takahatacho in Nishinomiya city.
